Cameron becomes a big brother!

At 14:38 today Cameron became a big brother to Andrew Peter Love...how exciting!

Checking into "Hotel Glengarry"!

In theatre...getting Brigette prepared.

Getting some of the good stuff...not good enough though!

Fancy machinery...ooeeerrrr!

You sexy thang!!

I reckon there's a 7ft giant working at Glengarry...and I think I got his scrubs!

Getting ready for the "spinal block"!

Applying the anisthetic...freezing cold!

The laughter...before the tears :-(

Dr Tai checks up on progress!

Dr Tai scrubs up...nice wellies!

Getting ready...now we're getting nervous!

October 29th 2008 @ 14:38...date/time of entry for Andrew Peter Love!!

Doing the APGAR tests...9 out of 10...he got an A+!!

Cutting the cord...a tough little bugger it was too!

Aww...our son!!

A proud daddy...off to get him weighed and measured while Brigette gets sewn back together!

Dr Tai, our obstetrician uses a ruler get a straight incision, and has been known to remove and redo his stiches if they're not totally straight...a perfectionist, just what you want in the person delivering your baby!!

Birth weight of 2.974kg, or 6.8lb in the old scale...a little one! He's 50cm long and head circumference of 35cm.

They put him in an oxygen chamber to help get rid of the extra fluid that babies born via caesarian section tend to have.

He looked so peaceful...give it a couple of weeks and we'll be begging for him to sleep like this!

Our little man...fingers in the mouth already!

Cutie...brown hair but with a red tinge to it.

The tube is to help him feed and also clear out any fluid from his stomach.

Finally...Brigette went through some major serious pain today without complaining, then had to wait over 5 hours to see her little man because he was kept in the nursery for observation.

And she can still manage a smile...a wonderful woman!

So precious...you forget how small they are until you see a newborn again!

A very proud mummy and daddy...
